broken flipper for 20+ years

Smile Transformation by Dr. Assadi

This patient had been wearing a broken flipper for 20+ years due to congenitally missing lateral incisors. She had no idea that we could transform her smile so that she did not have to wear a broken flipper. I went through the process of what it would take to get her maximum benefits, optimal esthetics and proper functioning of new teeth. We first started with a diagnostic wax-up and photos so that we could see how many teeth would need to be involved and what it would entail. When the proposed wax-up came back to us from the lab, we did a "try-in" of her future smile. We deducted from the try-in that she would need crown lengthening surgery with the periodontist, two sets of 3-unit bridges and 2 veneers. And we did just that. The entire process took 4 months. We allowed 3 months of healing after her gum surgery.

damaged tooth extracted

Smile Transformation by Dr. Assadi

Patient presented with a fractured post and crown on a central incisor. The broken tooth was non-restorable. The Patient opted for the broken tooth to be extracted and for a single implant to be surgically placed. Due to tooth size discrepancies in her smile zone, she needed to have the neighboring teeth altered to avoid having non-proportionate central incisors. We had to do a diagnostic wax-up to see how many teeth would need to be modified to fit a proper size implant crown. We delivered a balanced smile with 3 veneers and one implant crown. The process took 4 months from initial appointment to final appointment.

WHAT OUR DENTAL PATIENTS SAY

5 star

My family has been seeing Dr. White through more than a decade of teeth cleanings, tooth injuries, teeth grinding, cavities, caps, root canal... you name it. The office is 30 minutes away but we wouldn't consider another dentist office. It's not just that Dr. White is a great professional, it's that he and his family run a great office. Scheduling, insurance, hygienists, hours -- everything about interacting with them is first rate.Everybody is knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. They take major insurance, and have even given me advice on which options to select. ...and Dr. White is a big Nats fan, which is a bonus in my book any day.
